Adrian Lee was an independent hot tub dealer and a very experienced member of the leisure community selling premium leisure products since 2004. Since then his business has grown from strength to strength, developing his product portfolio and receiving a 5* rating from customers. This year, Adrian has decided to join the Award Leisure group to help grow his business, brand and exposure.
Since making this change, he has met his sales targets as a franchisee and is on track to exceed this target in the coming year. Adrian had his initial dream of being successful within this unique industry and its very rewarding for Award Leisure to be able to support his journey and help him get where he wants to be in his career and have a of fun on the way!

Adrian has always had a passion for Hot Tubs and has sold out of his flag ship store in Cheshire since 2004. After reaching a point in his business where growth became difficult. Adrian wanted to boost sales and the excitement and desire for luxury leisure products. Adrian thought by joining the Award Leisure franchise network, it would be a great opportunity to aid his growth. By partnering with Award Leisure, he is able to offer a bigger product range whilst still selling his existing Hot Tub brand. By increasing his product portfolio with products which compliment Hot Tubs, such as; Gazebos, Garden Buildings, Pizza Ovens etc.
Adrian’s customers would come into store and buy a Hot Tub from him but then go somewhere else for their cabin, gazebo or any other outdoor leisure products. Being part of the Award Leisure brand means Adrian doesn’t have this problem anymore. Adrian stated ‘’having the vaster product range gives me and my sale staff a lot more confidence, we are now a one stop shop’’. Becoming a franchisee also offered Adrian the chance for his brand to be seen on a nationwide level. This gives him a much bigger advantage of hitting the sales targets he has set himself. Award Leisure is a family run operation and has been since 1984, this was very important for Adrian who also worked within his own family business before taking the franchise opportunity. This appeals to Adrian and other potential franchisees because it gives stability for existing staff members and reassurance.
One of the most difficult parts of the franchise process is finding a good location to set up your showroom and store. For Adrian this wasn’t an issue as he was already operating out his immaculate Cheshire showroom. Adrian’s location is perfect, with a great advertisement campaign in and out of store and excessive footfall it’s the ideal base for a franchise. This is very exciting for Award Leisure! With the leisure industry growing year on year only increases customers awareness in such products. Customers want an experience when they buy a high-end product and that is why it is fundamental to have attractive showroom for display
